About The Position

Performs a full range of general building and equipment repairs and maintenance duties while assisting other maintenance personnel with general construction and maintenance, an array of installations, ceiling tile replacement, floor tile replacement and installs, painting and carpentry duties.Will be performing inventory & stock checks and will be required to conduct general cleanup and organization of work areas.

Requirements

Must maintain enrollment in at least 6 credits at LBCC
maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout each term
maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better
have financial aid in place to be eligible to work in a Work Study student employee capacity at Linn-Benton Community College
Requires knowledge of the use, maintenance, and minor repair of the various tools and equipment used in building maintenance and repair work
Must know and understand safety rules and regulations
Must have basic record keeping and report writing skills
Requires communication skills sufficient to discuss and understand basic technical information and to interact with the normal range of contacts usually found at this level
Must be able to shift priorities quickly as needed by the demands of the institution
