About The Position

Weinstein Properties is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Assistant Supervisor for Bexley at Left Bank in Fort Worth, TX. This role involves assisting with managing and coordinating the activities of a service team to ensure efficient upkeep, inventory, and repair of property grounds and buildings. The position requires strong plumbing, electrical, and HVAC trade skills, as well as customer service interaction. It is a 'working' lead role, where the effective performance of the service team maximizes rents and maintains high occupancy levels through professional maintenance practices and quality control. Weinstein Properties owns and manages all its properties, offering stability and growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years trade related experience
  • At least 2 years of hands on apartment maintenance supervisory experience
  • Strong working knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance
  • EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification required (Type I and II or Universal)
  • Hands on HVAC repair experience required
  • Computer skills: use business software to assign and manage work orders, schedule turns, order supplies and communicate via email
  • Willing to share on-call with other team members
  • Valid driver's license
  • Transportation

  • DMV and background/criminal check will be conducted

Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing and coordinating activities of a service team to ensure that all upkeep, inventory and repair of grounds and buildings of the property are completed in an efficient manner
  • Diagnose problems and make repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural and appliances
  • Assist with scheduling and directly supervising all in-house and/or vendor work
  • Share on-call with other team members
  • Follow professional maintenance practices, using quality control and following policies/procedures
  • Provide customer service to visitors, prospects, and residents
