About The Position

The Maintenance Assistant position at the City of Coral Springs is a part-time role focused on providing organization, sanitation, and general maintenance within the Sportsplex and tennis facilities. Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping and grounds keeping work.
• Experience using pressure cleaning equipment.
• Possession of a valid Florida driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect park facilities for safety issues.
• Spray for weeds and other plant material.
• Paint athletic fields.
• Transport equipment for repairs and maintenance.
• Mow athletic fields.
• Pick up trash around the park.
• Clean restrooms.
• Pressure clean park amenities.
• Fill out daily and weekly logs and inspections.
• Complete basic landscape maintenance.
• Participate in group projects.
• Drag and line ball fields.
• Remove trash from trash cans.
• Pickup landscape debris.
• Turn on field lights for permits.
• Check for proper permits.
• Turn off field lights at the end of the night.
• Open/close restrooms and park gates.
