We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant Manager to lead the charge in keeping Hoosier Village safe, comfortable, and operating smoothly. If you're a hands-on leader with a heart for service and strong technical skills, we want to meet you! Located on our beautiful campus, this full-time position plays a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of those we serve. You'll assist in diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues, support fellow technicians, and oversee special facility projects - all while contributing to a place our residents call home.

Requirements

Knowledge of HVAC controls, plumbing, electrical systems and general maintenance best practices
Experience using a variety of tools and equipment safely and effectively
A strong sense of accountability, reliability, and customer service - our residents and staff are your priority

Nice To Haves

HVAC, plumbing or electrical certifications preferred

Responsibilities

Assisting and training maintenance staff with daily tasks and problem-solving
Scheduling maintenance tasks and plans
Coordinating and executing special projects across the campus
Providing hands-on support and performing repairs in areas such as, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and more.
Helping maintain compliance with safety and healthcare facility standards
Supervising maintenance workers and monitoring their performance
Performing inspections to identify problems and issues
Responding to maintenance emergencies
