We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant Manager to lead the charge in keeping Hoosier Village safe, comfortable, and operating smoothly. If you're a hands-on leader with a heart for service and strong technical skills, we want to meet you! Located on our beautiful campus, this full-time position plays a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of those we serve. You'll assist in diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues, support fellow technicians, and oversee special facility projects - all while contributing to a place our residents call home.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of HVAC controls, plumbing, electrical systems and general maintenance best practices
  • Experience using a variety of tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • A strong sense of accountability, reliability, and customer service - our residents and staff are your priority

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC, plumbing or electrical certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assisting and training maintenance staff with daily tasks and problem-solving
  • Scheduling maintenance tasks and plans
  • Coordinating and executing special projects across the campus
  • Providing hands-on support and performing repairs in areas such as, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and more.
  • Helping maintain compliance with safety and healthcare facility standards
  • Supervising maintenance workers and monitoring their performance
  • Performing inspections to identify problems and issues
  • Responding to maintenance emergencies
