About The Position

Castle Peak, a Cassia community in Eagle, CO, is currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant/ Bus Driver to join our team in Eagle, CO. As a Maintenance Technician at Castle Peak, you will be on-the-move to identify maintenance issues and work hands on to correct them. You will also perform routine maintenance repairs at the campus. As a Bus Driver, you will drive a bus to help with access for our residents by bringing them to scheduled events. The ideal candidate is a safe driver with a positive attitude and experience supporting seniors, ready to manage scheduled trips and maintain the bus to standards. Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position working a varying schedule including 1 weekend day a week. Wage Range: $25 - $28 per hour depending on experience Location: 195 Freestone Road, Eagle, Colorado 81631

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older due to federal DOT and CDL licensing requirements.
  • Prior maintenance experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
  • Able to make repairs inside and outside of building, basic carpentry, basic plumbing, replace light bulbs, filters, etc.
  • Able to use basic maintenance tools such as hammer, pliers, screwdriver, drill, etc.
  • Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Good driving record: no moving violations for the last two years.
  • Experience working with persons with memory loss and physical disabilities is desired.
  • Friendly, outgoing and positive personality.

Responsibilities

  • Additional duties may include cleaning windows, moving and arranging furniture.
  • Perform routine maintenance repairs and projects as needed.
  • Follow scheduled maintenance program.
  • Respond to maintenance requests by residents and staff.
  • Follow-through on projects with little supervision.
  • Perform manual tasks and carry out all given job related instructions.
  • Keep detailed reports of ongoing and completed projects.
  • Painting walls, paint retouches, and other related tasks .
  • Perform other duties as requested.
  • Drive the bus for schedule resident and employee outings.
  • Complete proper documentation, including daily logs and quarterly reports.
  • Track and schedule maintenance for the bus.
  • Complete daily upkeep for the bus including filling up gas, washer fluid, etc.
  • Communicate with different sites regarding time and location of daily trips.
