About The Position

In this role, you will ensure the technical availability and operational capability of production machinery in alignment with company requirements and approved budgets. This includes the implementation of both planned and unplanned maintenance processes to achieve annual maintenance targets using standard company tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Proven ability to lead machine improvement, refurbishment, upgrade, or installation projects
  • Experience working with international contacts through projects, colleagues, or suppliers
  • Strong ability to work effectively in an intercultural environment and within a matrix organization

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in machine installation/ modification (startup and commissioning)

Responsibilities

  • Organize and oversee planned maintenance activities, including inspections, lubrication, preventive and predictive tasks, machine tolerance checks, and major repairs.
  • Monitor and continuously improve maintenance processes, ensuring proper documentation and fulfillment.
  • Manage and develop engineers and technicians across all shifts within the department.
  • Direct, support, and grow the maintenance team, fostering a culture of accountability and technical excellence.
  • Coordinate maintenance staff during equipment breakdowns, ensuring timely diagnostics, repairs, and restarts based on production priorities.
  • Lead root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and improve reliability.
  • Implement the local maintenance strategy, including support for TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), SAP-PM enhancements, and integration of condition monitoring tools.
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive cross-functional improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with ESH requirements within the maintenance area.
  • Promote awareness and active involvement of maintenance staff in ESH initiatives.
  • Plan and monitor the maintenance budget, optimizing stock levels and purchasing of spare parts, technical components, and supplies.
  • Initiate and manage contracts with external suppliers for outsourced maintenance activities.
  • Identify, analyze, and implement technical improvements in production machinery in collaboration with Production, Quality, and Purchasing departments.
