About The Position

JOB SUMMARY The role will be responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, installing, and modifying electrical components and systems for the IKO Seville (Blair Rubber) production facility. The role must also help ensure the safety of themselves and others by observing all local, state, and national electrical codes. PLANT DESCRIPTION IKO Seville (Blair Rubber) is the manufacturer of and worldwide supplier of roofing membranes and ancillary products, and rubber linings which protect vessels and equipment from corrosion and abrasion in the harshest chemical environments. LOCATION 5020 Enterprise Parkway, Seville, OH 44273

Requirements

• Employee of IKO Seville for a minimum of one year
• Class A Lead in the production department
• Obtain a score of 28 or higher on Ramsay Corporation MultiCraft Aptitude Test
• Must be willing to attend Maintenance Apprenticeship Courses (paid by company) during unpaid hours after work with personal transportation to and from classes.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical, distribution and control equipment at the plant
• Working with computers, line drive and PLCs and other technical schematics
• Organizing work area, tools and parts
• Managing assigned work orders while complying with all safety rules, including lock, tag, and verify
• Working in a team setting with other maintenance personnel
• Working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced working environment
• Makes necessary modifications and implements tests runs; confers with product manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required.
