About The Position

The Maintenance Apprentice is responsible for assisting the maintenance department with repairing and maintaining the machinery, equipment, and facilities. This position will not have supervisory responsibility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic tools to perform the above tasks.
• Operational knowledge of common hand, power, and industrial tools.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in machine maintenance (as helper), building maintenance, preventative maintenance and/or basic electrical.

Responsibilities

• Assist the maintenance techs engaged in installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance in the assigned area.
• Dismantle machinery or equipment using common hand, power, and industrial tools to examine parts for defects and repair or replacement.
• Lock out / tag out certification.
• Complete daily maintenance paperwork for assigned work orders/requests and checklists.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Special projects/duties as assigned by maintenance supervisor or manager.
