MAINTENANCE and Van Driver
About The Position
Our mission, at Crest Nursing Home, is to improve the lives of the residents we serve. We believe in Dignity, Integrity, Service, Compassion, and Respect. We are seeking a full-time Maintenance person to join our team of exceptional and motivated directors and caregivers for 4 MONTHS for upkeep of projects, including painting, plumping, ceiling tile replacements, lights, fans, etc.... We are looking for individuals that want to make a difference in the lives of those around them, want to be challenged and rewarded. The driver takes residents to appointments and picks up new admissions from the hospital. Maintenance will be done in between rides, as needed.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable in Maintenance areas and repairs.
- Able to carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge and experience in plumbing repairs such as drain pipes, faucet fixtures, and water and heating supply lines.
- Knowledge and experience in simple electrical repair and replacement such as switches, outlets, circuits, and light fixtures.
- General knowledge and experience other building maintenance such as window replacement, rescreening, tiling, and lock installation.
