About The Position

As the IFF Maintenance and Reliability Manager, you'll lead the in-house maintenance team to continually improve the short- and long-term maintenance systems in the manufacturing operation. This role involves working with the site team to support the Process Safety Management systems, hard hat safety initiatives, and ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 programs. You will provide technical expertise to analyze and resolve recurring issues affecting plant operations, define and implement appropriate preventive maintenance practices to ensure the operational availability of plant equipment, and work with maintenance resources to develop a high-performing, customer-focused team. Additionally, you will establish best practices within the maintenance department, ensure that the maintenance department's objectives for safety, cost, and quality are met, and collaborate with Operations, Planning, and other site team members to safely and efficiently manage the equipment and facilities at the site. You will also oversee the daily management of the site's preventive and predictive maintenance programs and work order management system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a science, engineering (ChE, ME, IE, or EE), or related field preferred.
  • 12 years of manufacturing and leadership experience.
  • Understanding of mechanical reliability and maintenance principles.
  • Knowledge of maintenance procedures and electrical distribution systems.
  • Familiarity with safe work practices and mechanical systems.
  • Experience in Preventative/Predictive Maintenance and Facilities Maintenance.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Experience with Utilities, Boilers, High Speed Rotating Equipment, Pumps, Air, Refrigeration preferred.
  • Experience in a PSM-regulated facility.
  • Effective communication skills with all organizational levels.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and implement multiple projects.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Willingness to climb, stand, and walk regularly on the job.
  • Ability to oversee and execute organizational policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build teams and drive efficiencies.

  • Experience working in a PSM-regulated facility.
