Requirements
- Five or more years of sub-acute/long term care maintenance and life safety experience.
- Experience in management and training of personnel is required.
Nice To Haves
- Department head experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a safe, secure and pleasing environment for our patients/residents, their families, our employees and guests as our nursing center Facilities Director.
- You will be responsible for nursing center maintenance and housekeeping operations.
- Report to the Nursing Home Administrator
- Lead, guide and direct the work of technical maintenance staff, contractors, or subcontractors.
- Oversee the maintenance of buildings and grounds, including renovations, expansions, and improvements.
- Review requests for maintenance and prioritizes maintenance activities based on urgency and availability of resources.
- Inspect building and grounds regularly to identify current and potential maintenance needs.
