Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have hazardous waste training.
  • Must have passed company forklift driver training program.
  • Must have good mechanical knowledge
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Able to work within a team.
  • Must have excellent attendance
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Must be able to work overtime as required
  • Must be able to perform all duties in a safe and effective manner
  • Ability to read and write.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a maintenance technician is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Make daily plant tours inspecting equipment for machine problems.
  • Oil and grease mechanical equipment according to specified procedures and instructions.
  • Keep containers such as lube and hydraulic tanks and gearboxes filled with lubricant.
  • Follow all GMP, safety and company rules and regulations.
  • Maintain necessary records.
  • Assistant other maintenance crews.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Perform heat checks on all motors and gearboxes.
  • Operate floor cleaner.
  • Change and maintain all filters in our process and for machine proficiency.
  • Maintain sidewalks and exit landing in in climate weather.
  • Must be fall arrest trained to climb silos. Perform other duties as required or directed.
