About The Position

As a Maintenance and Facility Supervisor you will lead all maintenance and facilities operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable performance across the plant. You will oversee personnel and processes, improving equipment standards, preventive maintenance programs, and facility upkeep to support cost-effective manufacturing requirements. You will report to the Operations Manager and be located at Newington, NH. You will support this role 100% onsite.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience implementing preventive maintenance systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience in maintenance or facilities management.
  • Proficiency with maintenance software and MS Office applications.
  • Work on-site for extended periods (standing, walking, and computer use).
  • Hands-on experience maintaining process equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance programs, Lean principles, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with commercial construction and building/fire system codes.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology preferred

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily operations for all building systems and equipment. This includes manufacturing machinery, plant air and fire systems, electrical, plumbing, light construction, custodial services, groundskeeping, and snow removal.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, documented procedures, and regulatory requirements, including all safety, health, and environmental standards.
  • Lead all aspects of team management: interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions. Monitor work progress to minimize delays and maintain quality standards.
  • Develop team capabilities through training and technical skill enhancement programs.
  • Maintain awareness of operational, financial, compliance, safety, and HR performance goals.
  • Ensure all safety certifications and training remain current.
  • Communicate feedback and improvement opportunities to the Operations Manager and other departments.
  • Assign and oversee preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Schedule and delegate projects, ensuring completion.
  • Verify accurate daily entries in L2L system, enforce 5S practices, and monitor administrative compliance.
  • Manage contractors performing work within the facility.
  • Validate inventory levels and order parts.
