Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of 480V, 277V, and 120V electrical systems (single and three-phase).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and Illustrated Parts Breakdowns.
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude to replace and maintain RGV and crane components.
  • Experience with CMMS and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Physical ability to perform equipment inspections, mechanical repairs, and component replacements.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures as low as -2 Fahrenheit
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and working at heights up to 100 feet
  • Ability to lift 50Ibs
  • 5 years’ experience or combination of experience and trade school in one or more of the following areas: electro-mechanical technology, mechatronics, automation, robotics, or automotive
  • Capable of completing all maintenance tasks in a safe and reliable manner with minimal to no supervision
  • Fully proficient with, and capable of operating power and hand tools, calibrated devices and inspection tools
  • Comprehensive computer skills for automated line
  • Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the facility
  • Possess problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload with demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in temperatures as low as -2 Fahrenheit while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Some locations require being comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot all systems and subsystems of the repack automated assembly lines including conveyors, pneumatic systems and electrical systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system components, including sensors.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and adjustments to ensure system reliability.
  • Replace and repair conveyor mechanical components (chains, belts, rollers, drive motors) and control system sensors (photo-eyes, proximity, electronic sensors).
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in CMMS and report issues to management with estimated repair timelines.
  • Assist and train technicians in troubleshooting and repair procedures.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment by removing replaced parts and maintaining equipment areas.
  • Work safely in cold environments and at heights, following all company safety protocols.
  • Collaborate and create troubleshooting and repair procedures for all equipment
  • Perform physical inspection and calibration, preventative maintenance, and repairs on all mechanical and electrical assets impacting the operation of the facility, physical structure, and exterior grounds
  • Maintain reporting of inspections, evaluations, preventive maintenance procedures and communicate all pertinent information regarding equipment operation and maintenance to leadership daily
  • Operate power tools, cutting torch and other welding apparatus to cut or join metal parts
  • Utilize onsite motorized lift and rental equipment as needed while operating, inspecting, calibrating, and maintaining equipment
