Develop and implement maintenance programs to enhance machine uptime, with a focus on both availability and reliability. Oversee the maintenance of the site building and facilities. Promote and sustain our safety program within a heavy industrial setting, with the objective of achieving and maintaining zero accidents through comprehensive safety initiatives.

  • Lead and supervise daily activities of the maintenance and facilities teams.
  • Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to technicians and mechanics.
  • Prioritize, assign, and monitor work orders, preventive maintenance (PM) schedules, and emergency repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including contractor management, electrical safety, lockout/tagout, and PPE usage.
  • Coordinate with production and engineering to schedule repairs and minimize downtime.
  • Oversee installation, repair, and preventive maintenance to enhance equipment availability and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and performance testing using voltmeters and other tools.
  • Disassemble and reassemble complex equipment as needed.
  • Manage operation and maintenance of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, air systems, etc.).
  • Supervise building maintenance, utilities, landscaping, and janitorial services.
  • Handle service requests, preventive maintenance, and vendor/contractor relationships.
  • Perform regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Develop and manage purchasing strategies for facility-related needs.
  • Support space planning, office relocations, and conference room setups.
  • Submit capital planning and budgetary requests.
  • Support EHS policies, procedures, and programs aligned with corporate and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct safety walks, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage environmental permitting and reporting (Air, SPCC, SWPPP, etc.).
  • Deliver safety training programs, including new employee orientation and monthly sessions.
  • Maintain dashboards and scorecards to track EHS performance metrics.
  • Serve as the site's emergency response coordinator and business continuity team member.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment status.
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase requests as needed.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability and efficiency.
  • Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks aligned with operational goals.
  • High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering, or a related field, is preferred.
  • 5-10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement maintenance programs and reliability strategies.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role is preferred.
  • Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related discipline is also preferred.
  • Anticipated salary range for this position: $97,000/yr to $156,380/yr.
