This role in summary Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of a Lead Maintenance (Analyst, Manufacturing Maintenance) this role will be located onsite at our Clyde, OH manufacturing site.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in a Supervisor role
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience in the maintenance environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead and Drive accountability for WCM (World Class Manufacturing) implementation in the Maintenance area to achieve safety, quality, and cost targets.
  • Execution and completion of EWO (Emergency Work Order) with craftsman in timely manner for Root Cause Analysis and Countermeasure identification
  • Lead craftsman in execution of PM Pillar expansion projects including updating of KPI/KAI’s, presentation of projects to varying levels of plant
  • Manage 15-20 crafts on a daily basis between mechanics, electricians, and laborers
  • Meet financial and productivity goals including daily OEE (Overall equipment effectiveness) and labor efficiency metrics
  • Support lean initiatives in your area of responsibility for 5S, quality, and standardized work
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment.
  • Oversee and audit KRONOS for hourly associates as well as schedule manpower as needed
  • Complete administrative paperwork (reports for safety, HR, payroll, attendance, vacation, etc.)
  • Work in a cross-functional environment with other departments to maintain equipment, meet schedules and to accomplish department goals.
  • Monitor and measure KPIs department performance.
  • Communicate effectively with associates, peers and division leadership to effectively manage the department.
  • Demonstrate Whirlpool Values and a Spirit of Winning.
  • Flexibility to change shifts or departments as needed to support Clyde Operations.
  • Lead problem solving activities for root cause analysis
  • Manage projects to completion
