About The Position

The Maintenance Tech position in the Wastewater Department is a full-time role based in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The shift for this position is from 2:00 PM to 11:30 AM, with an hourly rate of $24.86 plus a $1 shift differential. Candidates must be able to attain a pallet jack license and a Forklift License, and should possess substantial computer skills. Successful candidates will be interviewed and must complete all training requirements, including obtaining the Industrial Pre Treatment License within one year of transferring into this role.

Requirements

• Reading, writing, and math comprehension at an 8th grade level.
• Ability to pass a drug and background check.
• Must pass Pulmonary Function Test (PFT).
• Minimum of one year of trade or technical skill set, such as Welding, Electrical, HVAC, Industrial Maintenance, or Machine Shop.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED).
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment in the Wastewater Department.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Complete all required training and certifications.
• Assist in the operation of wastewater treatment processes.
