Maintainability Engineer is responsible for developing detailed Maintenance Task Analyses (MTA), troubleshooting procedures, and fault isolation logic to ensure field maintainability, technical accuracy, and supportability of complex electrical and mechanical systems. This role translates high-level support strategies (RCM, FMECA, LORA) into actionable maintenance workflows, supporting technical publications, training, provisioning, and field repair execution. This engineer interfaces closely with manufacturing, quality, warranty, and field service teams to capture real-world maintenance feedback and ensure that service procedures are safe, executable, and optimized for operational environments. A strong understanding of assembly processes, failure diagnostics, and hands-on repair practices—particularly electrical troubleshooting—is critical to success in this role.
