About The Position

POSITION OBJECTIVE: To ensure the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of facility equipment and systems by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This role focuses on minimizing downtime, maintaining compliance with safety standards, and optimizing machinery performance to support overall operational goals. 12-hour shift rotation – 7:30am to 7:30pm 10 paid holidays FREE Dr office on-site Excellent benefits offering Competitive starting pay

Requirements

One to two years related maintenance experience preferred.
Attend annual training and practice of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
Must possess basic plumbing skills.
Requires basic working knowledge of powered hand tools.
Good verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of lock out/tag out procedures.
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
Ability to quickly move your hand, your hands together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, lift, manipulate or assemble objects. (many duties require hand over hand movement) (frequently)
Ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands.
Must be able to see in low light conditions, hear, and speak clearly.
Ability to stand and change positions frequently over a twelve-hour period.
Ability to exert muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects. (Lifting requirements up to and including 50 lbs.) (frequently).
Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and legs.
Must be able to reach and lift up to 50 lbs. above shoulders (frequently) reaching above head (occasionally), stooping (occasionally), twisting (occasionally), and bending at waist. (occasionally)
Ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles repeatedly or continuously to lift objects. (frequently)

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in plastic extrusion process equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible got performing preventative maintenance tasks on all types of production equipment.
Required to examine parts or defects and access equipment needs and parts required to solve malfunctions.
Reassembling equipment after competition of inspections and testing.
Clean, lubricate, adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
Record repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.
