Proof of citizenship status will be required at time of hire.” Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Systems Programmer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting z/OS and associated program products that are critical to our application development infrastructure and mission-critical applications. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in installing and maintaining ISV products as well as in-depth expertise with z/OS operating systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a z/OS mainframe systems programmer
  • Extensive experience with z/OS operating systems
  • Proven track record in installing and maintaining ISV products
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

  • Support Operations, application development teams, and production support teams (Db2, CICS, etc.)
  • Ensure non-disruptive installations of system and program products
  • Adherent to organizational change management policies
  • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new products
  • Plan and execute z/OS installation, configuration, and upgrades
  • Install and maintain SAS and BMC IOA Control products (Control-M/D, Strobe, etc.)
