About The Position

The position involves attending client meetings to understand requirements and provide technical solutions for building Traditional Life products in Policy Administrative Systems. The candidate will be responsible for building Life Products on the Vantage policy administration system and developing a plan from scratch using Product Wizard, with a strong understanding of Traditional life products, system migrations, and conversions. The role includes defining, documenting, and analyzing customer requirements, business processes, and procedures, as well as researching and documenting technical changes based on client requirements. The candidate will also perform code and design reviews, conduct testing of project changes, provide SIT and UAT support, and manage defect tracking.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of Vantage / WMA experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in TRAD whole life product development.
• Minimum 8+ years of development experience using COBOL, JCL, DB2.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend client meetings to understand client requirements and provide technical solutions for Traditional Life products.
• Build Life Products on the Vantage policy administration system.
• Develop a plan from scratch using Product Wizard, understanding Traditional life products, system migrations, and conversions.
• Define, document, and analyze customer requirements, business processes, and procedures.
• Research and document technical changes as per client requirements, identifying dependencies of different systems.
• Prepare Technical Specification Document.
• Perform code and design reviews to ensure deliverables adhere to project guidelines.
• Test all changes made for the project through different test cases and evaluate results.
• Provide SIT and UAT support and manage production rollouts.
• Review code delivery and manage defect tracking.
• Timely resolution of abends/obstacles in testing.
