Peraton is seeking a Mainframe Developer to support a Department of Defense Customer's Defense Business System. The main function of a software developer, working in an Agile Software Development Lifecycle is the development, maintenance, and migration of the customer's system. The candidate shall evaluate information systems requirements using Government approved engineering principles for examining the hardware, software, firmware, and human interfaces for DoD and DFAS life cycle management. Support will be focused on the following tasks: program and unit test system modifications, participate in all levels of system testing, attend analysis and design meetings, document system processes, and train team on processes and programming techniques.
