About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in modernization, analysis, and production support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with mainframe technologies, database optimization, and batch processing systems.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Mainframe Development & Modernization
• Expertise in Mainframe Stored Procedures
• Hands-on experience with DB2 (Query Analysis & Optimization)
• Experience with Control-M Scheduling
• Knowledge of Changeman Version Control
• Strong Production Support & Debugging skills
• Experience with MFTS / NDM File Transfer

Responsibilities

• Perform mainframe modernization activities
• Analyze existing mainframe code and prepare detailed documentation
• Work on mainframe batch processing and stored procedures
• Handle migration efforts focused on stored procedures
• Analyze and optimize DB2 queries , including rewriting queries for schema decoupling
• Manage job scheduling using Control-M
• Handle version control using Changeman
• Provide production support , including debugging and resolving issues
• Manage file transfers using MFTS/NDM
