About The Position

Support a team of software engineers in the development of software products and solutions and technical support. Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team. Contribute to software development projects by writing, testing, and debugging code, under the guidance of senior team members. Collaborate with the team to meet project objectives, actively participating in code reviews and design discussions. Assist in the documentation of software requirements and specifications, striving for clear and effective communication. Participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, seeking guidance and mentorship. Learn and adapt to software development practices and methodologies, actively participating in training programs. Contribute to the implementation of best practices and emerging technologies. Collaborate with team members to enhance your understanding of software architecture and design. Contribute to the team's knowledge sharing and learning environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) is required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant Mainframe application developer experience is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in 1 or more software programming languages: CICS and/or Cobol.
  • Development methodologies experience: Waterfall and/or Agile.
  • Coding and debugging skills are required.
  • Good technical and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and documentation skills.
