About The Position

This role will be responsible for the Main Line Assembly. Operators may be trained cross-functionally to support Main Line Assembly and other Assembly Areas. Using WCM related tools, operators are required to have high standards for Quality and Safety while performing job related duties. Operators will use a variety of tools and equipment, and work as part of a team to accomplish daily targets.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
At least 18 years old
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Effective communication skills

Nice To Haves

1+ years previous assembly or manufacturing experience
1+ years experience in a continuous improvement environment

Responsibilities

Balance, Fasten or assemble medium and large size steel parts.
Interact and/or run light machinery
Operate electrical, hydraulic and air activated hand tools
Read and follow standard work directions on the assembly line
Work in a team environment embedded in lean manufacturing methodology
Drive plant performance through Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost metrics
Keep work area clean and organized
Area cleanliness for process flow improvement
Perform other tasks or duties as assigned by area Supervisor or Department Manager
Must have the ability to bend, push, pull, lift up to 65 pounds
Ability to continuously stand or walk during shift
Will climb ladders or work on elevated surface on occasional basis during shift
