About The Position

The Main Banker is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the main bank, which includes daily operation, administration, maintenance, and protection of the casino bankroll. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that all cash and cash equivalents in the main bank are handled with the utmost care and accountability. The Main Banker is expected to promote superior guest service and adhere to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards. In this role, you will handle large amounts of money and maintain accountability over your assigned bank. You will be responsible for protecting and preserving the main bank assets, which includes accounting for, documenting, and verifying the accuracy of all incoming and outgoing currency, coin, tokens, chips, cash, vouchers, TITO tickets, coupons, checks, jackpot slips, bank deposits, and other monetary units. Balancing cash drawers is a key responsibility, ensuring that the drawers are at the appropriate impress total at the beginning and end of each shift. You will also verify the daily drops for the Count Room and prepare daily bank deposits. Additionally, you will maintain cage equipment, monitor and balance the TRU, MIMO, ATM, and Coin Star machines, and run necessary reports to balance. Processing buys for Cage Cashier and keeping the drawer appropriately stocked throughout the current shift and for the next shift are also part of your duties. Completing all necessary paperwork according to procedure, such as count sheets and buy sheets, while maintaining strict confidentiality in all company matters is essential. You may also be required to perform the duties of a Cage Cashier as needed and other duties as assigned.
