About The Position

Responsible for performing Table Games fills/credits, payment of slot jackpots, issuance/redemption of credit markers, concert ticket sales, sports book bet payments, Ticket in Ticket Out (TITO) ticket redemptions, credit card cash advances, and check cashing transactions. Responsible for all cash processing, cash accountability and verification of Main Bank/Vault operations of the Little River Casino Resort, while following strict policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Two (2) years’ experience in high volume cash handling
  • Conditions of employment with Little River Casino Resort include passing a pre-employment drug test excluding marijuana, a background investigation to secure a gaming license from the Little River Band of Ottawa Indian Gaming Commission, passing Resort background investigation and successfully completing a three-month introductory period.
  • Individual must not have been charged or released from employment or involved with anything which could be considered a liability to the Resort, e.g. harassment, theft, violence, or integrity issues.

  • Must be flexible with work schedule for any hours and/or shift, as assigned, according to business needs.
  • Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Safeguards Little River Casino Resort bankrolls.
  • May performs monetary transactions such as processing chips, check cashing, credit card cash advances, jackpots, sports book bet payouts, casino credit transactions including marker issuance/redemption, front money/safekeeping transactions, concert ticket sales, and TITO ticket redemption.
  • Prepares accurate bank deposits daily.
  • Responsible for the inventory/verification of all casino redemption kiosks and currency recyclers.
  • Ensures proper pickup from an armored courier.
  • Receives and verifies cash/coin orders and new chip orders into the accountability of the Cage.
  • Ensures inventory and accountability balances on each shift.
  • Accurately completes Main Bank/Vault Cage and Accounting records.
  • Verifies and accurately records all monetary transactions from Soft Count before taking into accountability.
  • Performs even exchange transactions of all Cage Cashier windows which include processing chips, personal checks, credit card cash advances, jackpots, credit marker issuances/redemptions, and TITO tickets.
  • Prepares Cage Cashier imprest window banks on a per shift basis.
  • Prepares Table Games chip fills/credits.
  • Prepares non-gaming imprest banks and processes all proceeds from non-gaming outlets.
  • Performs all duties in accordance with Cage policies and procedures along with abiding with internal controls.
  • Must adhere to safety rules and regulations of Little River Casino Resort and the Finance department.
  • Must successfully complete the Little River Casino Resort Anti-Money Laundering (AML) programs, Title 31 training and testing prior to performing job duties and continue recertification as required.
  • Must satisfactorily complete all training assigned by the Resort.
  • Must adhere to the safety rules and regulations of the Little River Casino Resort and of the Finance department.
  • Must be aware of and adhere to the emergency and evacuation procedures.
  • Must be aware of and adhere to the Resorts Health & Safety Program.
  • All Little River Casino Resort Team Members are responsible to ensure they are in compliance with Little River Casino Resort Policies and Tribal Gaming Regulations.
