About The Position

The Mailroom Support Agent's primary function is to process specialty mail and detect any fraudulent activity. You will be paid $17.50/hour and will work onsite at our 701 Experian Parkway, Allen, TX office and report to the Customer Support Manager. The hours for this positions are: Sunday 5am-1:30pm Mon/Tues 11:30am-10pm Wed/Fri 11:00am-5:30pm Thurs/Sat: OFF

  • You have a High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • You have 6 months to 1 year of experience in customer service-related experience
  • You have previous experience working in either a mailroom environment, a retail environment, a warehouse environment, or other relevant work environments
  • You have experience in shipping and receiving, inventory management, mail distribution, or other equivalent skills transferrable to this position
  • You have previous experience with Microsoft Office; internet, email, and ability to operate office equipment
  • You will be available to work overtime
  • You will be required pass background screening which will include a criminal background check, employment verification, education verification, credit check and a drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • You will process specialty correspondence by opening and scanning department mail
  • You will code mail by correspondence type and route to the appropriate department
  • You will screen mail to detect fraudulent activity
  • You will navigate the scanning system and applications. Performing limited maintenance on the scanning system.
  • You will lift and carry bins of mail weighing up to 25-30 pounds.
