About The Position

Mailroom Processing Clerk Onsite - Lexington, KY Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm (This schedule will be flexible once training is completed) Clean desk policy and hours can fluctuate based on volume Pay: $15.00/hour during training and up to the time when operator may switch to ABC/SBC compensation, which may be below your states minimum wage. Please take this into consideration when applying. Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Mailroom Processing Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining accurate records, and supporting overall mailroom operations. This position requires strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Basic PC and Internet skills (data entry experience a plus)
Must be able to pass a criminal background
Must be able to pass a drug test
Must be able to complete 4 weeks of training without attendance issues
Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 25–35 lbs. daily

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages from USPS, UPS, and FedEx for various Lines of Business (LOBs)
Process and log certified mail, UPS, and FedEx deliveries
Move boxes from the ScanQC area to storage racks in the mailroom and track inventory
Cross-train on all other mailroom-related tasks as needed
Maintain organized mailroom operations and ensure the timely delivery of all items
Receive and follow coaching and training to continuously improve performance
