Requirements

• Valid CA driver’s license to operate electric cart on the property
• 0-1+ years of experience
• Must be able to carry weights up to 50 lbs
• Capable of lifting and moving heavy loads (up to 75 lbs) using a push cart/dolly
• Computer skills/knowledge
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently
• Great teammate
• Must have good attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Previous mailroom experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Sort and screen all incoming mail into designated mail slot and plan distribution according to assigned route
• Scan and track all received mail and parcel deliveries
• Input messenger deliveries in our tracking system, including outgoing FedEx, UPS and DHL
• Responsible for the delivery of all interoffice mail, incoming mail via USPS, and parcels throughout the day
• Responsible for completing two runs a day (8:00am and 2pm), within 90 minutes
• Maintain route information by keeping names on mail slots current and updated
• Address and resolve all “unknown” (not listed in directory, no building/room number, illegible name, etc) mail daily
• All trades, ratings, and newspaper lists are to remain current
• Maintain the integrity and cleanliness of the mailroom
• Back fill and run route for other messengers in their absence
• May be asked to perform other duties/tasks, as needed by management
