The Mailroom Clerk at Fisher Island Community Association plays a crucial role in the efficient handling of incoming and outgoing mail and packages for residents and on-island entities. This position is set in a concierge-style environment with a strong emphasis on customer service, providing a diverse work experience in a prestigious community known for its exclusivity and high-quality service.

  • Sort and distribute incoming mail to various on-island entities and personnel
  • Apply postage and give outgoing mail to onsite USPS representative
  • Pick up and deliver inter-departmental correspondence
  • Deliver expedited mail (i.e., Fed Ex, UPS) to addressee
  • Organize and store packages held for pick up in the package storage area
  • Keep a daily log of mail deliveries
  • Comply with all established policies and procedures (i.e., appearance, attendance, conduct, etc.)
  • Maintain the highest level of customer service at all times
  • Perform other duties as requested
  • High school diploma required
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Valid driver license required
  • Knowledge of computer, M.S. Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Effective communication and public relations skills required
