The position of Mailing Operator Lead involves processing jobs on various pieces of Mailing equipment, such as Inkjets and Envelope Inserting machines, providing timely and quality production while also providing guidance and instruction to other Mailing Team Operators.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year as an Entry Level operator at Lahlouh or 2 years of experience as an operator for a previous employer.
• Excellent eye for detail.
• Highly motivated with a positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Communicate effectively with manufacturing personnel.
• Have a minimum knowledge of computers (knowledge of PACE is a plus).
• Basic understanding of the USPS regulations and requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot machine problems after time.

Nice To Haves

• Familiar with general aspects of Printing, Bindery, or Mailing workflow.
• Comfortable with aspects of the Mailing Department and related workflow and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Process jobs on various pieces of Mailing equipment, such as Inkjets and Envelope Inserting machines.
• Provide guidance and instruction to other Mailing Team Operators.
• Keep accurate and complete daily records for data collection.
• Meet company and departmental standards, including Customer Requirements, Compliance, Safety, Quality, etc.
• Follow Lahlouh ISO Quality Procedures and Work Instructions, and complete forms and checklists as necessary.
• Work overtime and weekends, as business needs dictate.
• Assist in training new and temporary employees.
• Prepare shift change instructions and assist with operator assignments.
