About The Position

As a Mailing Machine Set-Up Operator, you’ll set up, run, and troubleshoot mailing and bindery equipment to ensure projects are produced accurately and on time. You’ll work closely with the Bindery Manager and play a key role in our overall production workflow.

Requirements

Experience with mailing, bindery, or print production equipment (preferred)
Mechanical aptitude or machine operation experienc e
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Requires a high school diploma and/or one to three years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience.

Ability to work 2nd (3pm to 11pm) or 3rd shift (11pm to 7am)
A mechanical aptitude with the ability to figure out how machines operate.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot mailing equipment (inkjet, inserters, folders, etc.)
Adjust guides, rollers, and machine settings for accurate output
Inspect finished mail pieces and correct quality issues
Load/unload mail trays, tubs, and pallets
Read job tickets and ensure proper addressing, postage, and production specs
Clear jams and keep machines running efficiently
Maintain a safe, clean production area
