About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mail Sorter to join our dynamic team at UPSMI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently sorting mail and packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as well as operate warehouse equipment.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in mail sorting or distribution
• Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate sorting and filing
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role (up to 50 pounds)
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving protocols is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Sort incoming and outgoing mail and packages accurately and efficiently
• Utilize RF scanners to track and manage inventory within the warehouse
• Load and unload mail from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling of items
• Assist in shipping and receiving operations, verifying the accuracy of shipments
• Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all items are filed appropriately
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily sorting quotas and deadlines
