About The Position
The Remote Pharmacist position involves data verification and making prescriber/patient calls for home infusion, IVIG, and hemophilia orders. Responsibilities include receiving and clarifying prescriptions from the provider's office, ensuring all necessary information for home infusion is included, such as medications prior to infusion, flushes, infusion time calculations, nursing, and all necessary supplies/pump. The pharmacist will also provide counseling and care plans to patients, as well as support for providers and home infusion nurses.
