About The Position

The SRT Technicians operate as a specialized team within the dispensing facility. Their functionality provides a link between the Front end processing of prescriptions orders (E-post) and the Back end filling of prescriptions (QMSI). These technicians maintain access into both processing systems allowing them the opportunity to ensure that orders requiring special attention or intervention are processed quickly and effectively sometimes at a high level of difficulty. The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 3 (Special Requirements Team) ensures inventory levels are adequate for processing by working with the dispensing teams. This role regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes, and techniques. This role works under limited guidance due to previous experience, breadth, and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge.
