Mail & Delivery Services Manager (Business Operations Supervisor 2) Oregon Department of Administrative Services Salem, Oregon The Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is the backbone of Oregon state government. We make sure agencies have the resources they need—financial, human, and technological—to serve communities across the state. We’re looking for a motivated, solutions‑driven leader to supervise our Mail & Delivery Unit. This team handles federal mail, secure document delivery, shipping/receiving, route coordination, and customer support for dozens of state agencies throughout the Willamette Valley. What You’ll Do As the Mail & Delivery Unit Supervisor, you’ll: Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate your team while fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment. Plan, assign, and adjust daily workflows to ensure timely and accurate service delivery. Build strong working relationships with customer agencies and respond to service needs with professionalism and clarity. Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and audit requirements for handling confidential and secure materials. Oversee route coordination, equipment upkeep, vehicle management, and operational performance metrics. Manage quality control, billing, and program reporting processes. Requirements

  • Four years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience; OR One year of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Coordinating high volume operational, logistics, mail service, warehouse, delivery, or similar service environments.
  • Employee is required to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license issued by the state where the employee resides.
