About The Position

As a Courier/Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of mail and packages to various locations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of service that our customers expect. This position requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Experience in driving and handling mail is strongly desired. Compensation & Benefits: Starting pay rate of $15.50 - $16.50 per hour Medical, Dental, Vision & Pet Insurance Paid Holidays Participation in company 401k Hours & Logistics: Monday - Friday First Shift (7:00am-4pm) Location: Downtown Tallahassee

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Clean driving record.
Proven experience as a driver; experience in mail delivery is a plus.
Ability to lift and carry mail and packages up to [weight limit, e.g., 50 pounds].
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and reliably.
Familiarity with local streets and neighborhoods.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Collect and deliver mail and packages to and from specified locations.
Sort and organize mail and packages for efficient delivery.
Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery.
Ensure the security and confidentiality of all mail and packages.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
Report any issues or delays encountered during delivery.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Adhere to all assigned Work Instructions and participation in Quality Management Systemprogram as required.
Backup onsite associate as needed.
