About The Position

The Mail & Courier Associate is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to mail and courier functions. This includes processing, collecting, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail, supplies, and daily work between departments and branch locations. The role also involves the daily operation and upkeep of a company vehicle, including communicating any maintenance requirements. Specific tasks include weighing mail, affixing postage, documenting certified, registered, and express mail, and sorting incoming and interdepartmental mail. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to meet established deadlines
  • Good communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willing to drive in varying weather conditions

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of duties to process and deliver the Bank’s mail within established deadlines.
  • Weigh mail and affix proper postage on outgoing mail.
  • Write appropriate documentation for certified, registered and express mail.
  • Sort incoming mail and interdepartmental mail.
  • Pickup and delivery of incoming and outgoing mail, supplies and daily work to and from various locations.
  • Responsible for the daily operation and upkeep of company vehicle, and the communication of any maintenance requirements.
  • Perform other duties as required.
