About The Position

Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking a mail room clerk for our Garden City office. We're looking for hardworking, dedicated people to work in a busy office supporting the mail room. Candidates should be detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and able to work independently and within a team. In this role you will complete physical and virtual mailing requests, complete drop-offs at post office, sign and or obtain notaries for Affirmation/Affidavits, and aid with various office services responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and clerical skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Familiarity with the postal system.
  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Tenacity to be able to work efficiently under strict deadlines
  • The ability to lift heavy items and transport and/or guide up to 50 pounds of material on a cart
  • Flexible, adaptable, and accountable

Responsibilities

  • Document printing/production
  • Processing and preparation of outgoing mail
  • Data entry and proper record keeping.
  • Complete outgoing requests for delivery services companies
  • Correspondence with firm's staff
  • Run errands, deliver documents
