About The Position

The Mail Center Lead Person is responsible for processing and delivering time-sensitive materials, including interoffice, First Class, and Store mail. This role involves distributing mail for Publix Offices, Warehouses, and Stores, as well as analyzing and researching the destination for any unknown or unmarked mail. The responsibilities listed in this posting are not intended to be all-inclusive, and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
• Be able to successfully complete a battery of Clerical & Microsoft Skills Tests before the start date
• Obtain certification in forklift and pallet jack operations on or before the start date
• Be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
• Be able to stand for long periods of time
• Have good verbal and written communication skills
• Be able to use a 10 key calculator and personal computer
• Have good time management skills
• Be able to handle and prioritize a variety of tasks and responsibilities
• Be able to work independently and productively
• Be able to work under deadlines and handle a high volume of work accurately
• Be customer service oriented
• Be able to read, write, and solve math problems
• Be able to interpret, understand, and follow instructions
• Have the ability to work well with others and be a team member
