The Mail and Print Coordinator at Azusa Pacific University is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Mail and Print Services.   • Develop, train, and supervise student staff.
  • Process all incoming and outgoing university mail and packages.
  • Assist customers with print and mailing needs.
  • Organize, pick-up, and deliver university mail packages and print orders.
  • Monitor jobs in production and communicate with staff regarding special jobs, proofs, and delivery schedules.
  • Manage clients' files, setup of prepress, and color management.
  • Operate print equipment and procure materials for production.
  • Ensure quality assurance to meet client deadlines and budgets.
  • Maintain and enforce department policies and procedures.
  • Answer questions on USPS mailing regulations and maintain address files for mail forwarding.
  • Perform monthly service checks on department vehicles and daily safety checks on equipment.
  • Troubleshoot printing and design problems for customers.
  • Conduct monthly and yearly inventory of consumables.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphics Design or related fields.
  • Three or more years of print production experience.
  • Three to five years of experience with computers in a network environment.
  • Good understanding of MS Office Word and Excel.
  • Ability to organize, schedule, and meet production deadlines.
  • Proactive about providing technical solutions.
  • Two years of mailroom experience.
  • Working knowledge of current postal regulations.
  • Valid California Driver's license.
  • Knowledge of postage meter machines.
  • Experience with graphic design programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to train others.
  • Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $19.49 to $22.41.
