Azusa Pacific University (APU) is seeking a dedicated Mail and Print Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of Mail and Print Services. This role is essential in ensuring that all incoming and outgoing university mail and packages are processed efficiently, while also managing print production tasks. The coordinator will be responsible for developing, training, and supervising student staff, ensuring that they are well-equipped to assist with the various print and mailing needs of the university community. The position requires a strong focus on organization and problem-solving, as well as the ability to manage production processes and projects effectively. In this role, the Mail and Print Coordinator will identify and assess customer needs to ensure satisfaction with print and mail projects. They will monitor jobs in production, communicate with staff regarding special jobs, proofs, and delivery schedules, and manage client files. The coordinator will also be responsible for the setup of prepress, color management, and quality assurance to meet client deadlines and budgets. Additionally, they will supervise student employees to ensure that all mail and packages are processed and distributed correctly, while also training them in proper Mail and Print Services procedures. The coordinator will maintain and enforce department policies and procedures, coordinate the processing and distribution of all mail and packages, and answer questions regarding USPS mailing regulations. They will also perform regular safety checks on equipment, maintain accurate inventory levels, and troubleshoot any printing or design issues that arise. This position requires a proactive approach to providing technical solutions and ensuring that all operations align with the mission and vision of APU.
