About The Position

The Mail and Package Specialist is responsible for providing operational support in various areas including mail processing, copying, and shipping. This role involves operating equipment, maintaining records, and ensuring the efficient handling of incoming and outgoing mail. The specialist will also perform basic maintenance on copiers and assist with customer service inquiries related to job requests.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Some related copy job experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage per Ricoh policy may be required.
• Demonstrated competency in basic computer skills including proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Operate duplicating equipment and perform associated copying tasks.
• Ship and receive products and supplies, sort, distribute, and handle incoming and outgoing mail/faxes.
• Provide copier maintenance and first call response for customer site equipment.
• Maintain records for management reports and inventories of supplies needed.
• Distribute office supplies, fax transmissions, and mail to company personnel or designated drop-off points.
• Perform furniture/conference room setup and fulfillment functions.
• Calculate charges for jobs performed and maintain logs.
• Respond to and coordinate all service calls required by customers.
• Deliver completed jobs to pre-determined customer locations within and outside of the site.
• Maintain daily meter and service logs.
• Answer customer questions regarding the status or feasibility of job requests.
• Ensure upkeep of convenience copier areas by keeping them neat and well stocked.
• Perform duties related to the shipping and/or receiving of materials in a mailroom environment.
