About The Position

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist performs advanced diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance technology to assist in the detection and diagnosis of disease. This role is responsible for operating MRI equipment, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and ensuring accurate image processing and documentation within the PACS system while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Requirements

• Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology required
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI imaging concepts
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
• Active Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist License
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) – Required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)

Nice To Haves

• 3 years of MRI experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
• Operate and regulate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Apply knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy for head, neck, body, musculoskeletal, and spine imaging
• Process, review, and organize images within the PACS system
• Ensure patient safety, MRI safety standards, and infection control practices are followed
• Communicate effectively with patients and clinical teams to ensure efficient workflow
