About The Position

Club Sponsors are responsible for organizing, leading, and instructing the Madison Elementary Clubs at various points throughout the school year. This role involves teaching, organizing and supervising club meetings, and managing students.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check as required by the school district.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching or working with elementary-aged children is highly preferred.
• Basic understanding of content related to club area.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with young children.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver age-appropriate content appropriate lessons for students in the club.
• Organize and lead regular club meetings.
• Create a structured schedule for meetings.
• Supervise all students during club activities, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
• Maintain open communication with the school administration, parents, and students.
• Provide any required updates on club activities and student progress.
• Oversee any school property or areas utilized during club time and ensure it is stored and maintained properly.
• Assist in promoting the club to students and families
