About The Position
Spend your summer having FUN while making a real impact. At Mad Science of DC, you’ll build and launch rockets, demonstrate lasers, explore dinosaurs, create amazing experiments, and inspire kids through hands-on science activities. Every week is a new adventure. This is not a desk job and not retail. You’ll stay active, work with a team, and lead excited elementary-age campers through unforgettable STEM experiences. Requirements
- Enjoy working with children ages 6–12
- Are outgoing, responsible, and dependable
- Can lead activities and manage a group
- Have a reliable personal vehicle
- Are available most weeks between June 21 and August 21
- College students or recent graduates
- A reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license are required.
- Must be available during the first two weeks of June.
Responsibilities
- Lead a group of elementary-aged campers through exciting, hands-on science activities, demonstrations, and take-home projects using our fully prepared curriculum.
- Bring energy, enthusiasm, and leadership.
