About this role: Wells Fargo's Macro Strategy team produces market-focused content, including trade ideas and thematic notes, on global interest rate and currency markets. The team is seeking a Macro Strategy Analyst (CIB Markets Program Analyst) to help support the team in its efforts, including with its published market strategy and client presentation content. In this role, you will: Conduct in-depth macroeconomic content and analysis, leveraging both statistical and qualitative approaches to produce high-impact market commentary Develop, maintain, and enhance quantitative models that support forecasting and scenario analysis Create and refine client-facing presentations and reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and actionable insights Collaborate with senior strategists to drive engagement and thought leadership through innovative content and market perspectives Partner with internal stakeholders across trading, sales, and research teams to deliver timely and relevant insights to clients Stay ahead of global economic trends, fiscal and monetary policy developments, and geopolitical events to inform strategic recommendations Adhere to all compliance and regulatory guidelines while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism

Requirements

  • 6+ months of Markets experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Willingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirements
  • Visa Sponsorship is not available
  • Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 63 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire.
  • In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer.
  • Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.
