About The Position
Do you have an eye for the news that matters for markets, the skill to translate what it means for traders and the ability to clearly deliver that information quickly? This is what is required to succeed as a macro squawker on Bloomberg's Markets Live team. You will transform geopolitics, monetary policy and economic reports into actionable market insights. You will broadcast over our audio squawk channel and also contribute to our markets blog with data-based analysis of trends across various asset classes. You will use your contacts and knowledge to keep your finger on the pulse of what gets our terminal clients buzzing. Bloomberg News is looking for a macro squawker to join its Markets Live team. The position requires a keen grasp of financial markets and their interconnections, the ability to instantly recognize market-moving news, the analytical skills to identify underlying dynamics, experience in writing cleanly under pressure and a clear articulate voice in English.
