About The Position

Purpose of Job:
To provide quality food service to members and guests of the Michigan Athletic Club.

Requirements

• Must have the ability to multi-task
• Must have a friendly disposition and the desire to serve people
• Must have the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis
• Previous customer service experience
• Must be 18 years of age to apply and have high school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Previous food service experience

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly and accurate service.
• Point of Sale Entry; taking orders on the touch screen unit, cash handling, cash-out procedures.
• Assist the cook in filling orders.
• Food preparation.
• Maintain a clean and stocked environment in the MAC.
• Follow all applicable health codes.
• Maximize sales and minimize food waste.
